Resources

This page has been designed to suggest a list of resources and products to help you on your journey to a healthy lifestyle. The underlying theme of The Theory of Fat Loss is that the best results come when one has properly prepared to burn fat. I have compiled this list so that you may understand the different types of training out there.

Strength Training
Maximum Strength-This book is old as far as fitness books go (mid 2000's), but I still find it to be one of the best out there. Not only do I fully approve of the workouts, but I especially like the message about strength. This, in my opinion, is a must read from one of the most brilliant experts in the industry.

Dedicated Fat Loss Programming
Cardio Strength Training: Torch Fat, Build Muscle, and Get Stronger Faster- This book is a great resource that explains to you how cardio and strength training are not mutually exclusive. It is written by former College Strength Coach of the Year, Coach Robert Dos Remedios, and is a followup to his popular book Men's Health Power Training. In this book you will learn how to effectively program extremely effective strength training workouts that simultaneously rapidly develop your cardiovascular system. Note: Whoever edited this book did a pretty terrible job... but the content is still good.

Nutrition Resources
The Paleo Solution- The "Paleo" diet is a nutrition paradigm based on human evolutionary history. Basically, the idea is that the absolute best diet for people to follow is one that mimics what we ate during the Paleolithic era. I have seen this diet transform bodies time and time again, and I highly recommend it.
