Equipment

If you don't belong to a gym, or if the gym you go to doesn't have the equipment you need, you might as well just buy your own! This page has my personal recommendations for equipment that you can either 1) bring to the gym with you or 2) use to make your own home gym.

Foam Roller
There is only one product that I feel is a "must have" for anybody serious about training, and that product is the foam roller. There is no better or cheaper way to stay healthy. With a price as low as $5.95, you can't go wrong.

TRX Suspension Training Pro Pack and TRX System Door Anchor
The TRX is a little on the expensive side, but this is the most versatile piece of equipment that I've ever come across. It is especially good for those who need to get in some oft neglected upper back work. This pack comes with a DVD to show you how to use it, so there won't be any guesswork. With the door anchor, the TRX can be used in any door frame, meaning you can train with it no matter where you go. Never leave home without your TRX!

Bowflex SelectTech Dumbbells
These dumbbells are only for those serious about building a home gym. While they are expensive, they are fully adjustable up to 52.5 pounds each, and they are still far cheaper than buying a complete dumbbell set and rack. If you go to a gym, you won't need these, but if you train at home, they are very convenient.
